Red Ghost Gun Shop traces its identity back to 1949, when founder Terry joined the US Air Force and served in the 417th Tactical Fighter Squadron—known as the "Red Dorques" (French for "Red Ghosts"). Decades later, in 1990, Terry transformed that military legacy into a gun shop, starting from his home and moving to the current location in 1996. In 2007, Jim DiMarco—a New Jersey transplant seeking a shop that felt like "home"—became a regular, then part-time helper, eventually purchasing the business in 2016. The shop remains independently owned and actively involved in the local shooting community.

Handgun carry in Indiana? You need an Indiana License to Carry a Handgun (LTCH). Loaded rifle carry is legal but draws attention. Vehicle transport of handguns is permitted without LTCH if ammunition is kept separate and inaccessible.
