The 9th Annual Marty Brown Memorial Invitational (2025) drew rifle marksmen and women to Camp Atterbury in Edinburgh, Indiana for long-distance precision shooting. The event also raises awareness and funds for ovarian cancer patients and survivors—honoring Revere's Riders member Marty Brown.
This flagship event was featured in the December 2025 issue of Shooting Sports USA.
Courses are taught by named volunteer instructors across multiple states: - Al "Meadow" Field - Phil Brown (Marty Brown Memorial founder) - Frank "LPRGC" Tait - Kevin "Unbridled Liberty" Fitz-Gerald - Steve "Corvette" Branam - And 8+ other experienced volunteer instructors
Student feedback highlights patient, knowledgeable instruction that welcomes beginners while challenging experienced shooters. Reviewers consistently mention learning proper fundamentals, body positioning, sling use, and shooting from multiple positions (prone, seated, standing).

They pair marksmanship training with detailed American history lessons—particularly the Midnight Ride of Paul Revere and Revolutionary-era marksmanship heritage. Instructors weave historical context into clinics, connecting modern shooting techniques to centuries of American marksman tradition.
Beyond training, Revere's Riders actively supports local causes. In November 2025, they donated pre-paid gas cards to Ascension St. Vincent Cancer Center and Ovar'Coming Together—part of their ongoing commitment to cancer awareness.
Revere's Riders is affiliated with: - Civilian Marksmanship Program - National Rifle Association - Youth Shooting Sports Alliance
A&A Optics, Cardinal Acres Web Development, Rockland Fund, Moore Gunworks, Premier Arms, and Vortex Optics support the organization.

Students report learning beyond basic trigger control: natural point of aim, body positioning to shift POA, proper sling use, shooting from multiple positions, and gear testing opportunities. Many attendees are surprised by how much technique work improves grouping size. The volunteer teams are noted for being safety-conscious, knowledgeable, and genuinely welcoming to newcomers and experienced shooters alike.
