Location details and information
Marion County Fish & Game Association, commonly known as Indy Range, has been serving the Indianapolis shooting community since 1907. As a private, membership-based club located on the west side of Indianapolis, MCFG&A provides top-tier facilities for shooters of all skill levels.
Main Range - Approximately 35 shooting positions - Multiple backstop distances: 7, 25, 50, and 100 yards - Ideal for pistol and rifle practice
Shooting Bays - Two dedicated bays added in 2010 - Each bay measures 20 yards wide by 25 yards deep - Available when main range is closed for events
Specialized Areas - Dedicated trap shooting range (Thursday evenings) - Archery range with straw backstop
Members enjoy diverse shooting opportunities including: - Pistol shooting on the main range and bays - Rifle shooting at various distances (7-100 yards) - Shotgun and trap shooting with scheduled Thursday trap times - Archery practice on the dedicated archery range
The main range and bays close at 6:00 PM for monthly meetings. The main range closes at 5:00 PM every Thursday for trap shooting (bays remain open). Members should consult the Schedule page for specific availability and event dates.
