The Sporting Club at the Farm

The Sporting Club at the Farm sprawls across 740 acres along the Ohio River near the Floyd County/Harrison County line. Located in New Albany, Indiana—just 15 minutes from Louisville, Kentucky—it's built to handle serious shooters, hunters, event planners, and everyone in between.

The landscape matters here. River bottoms and the Knobs hovering above create varied topography that works for everything they do.

Full course is 100 targets at $49 per shooter. Here's what the math looks like:

• •Golf cart rental: $30 (holds 4 shooters)
• •Gun rental: $40 each (12 or 20 gauge shotguns available)
• •Ammo: $12-15 per box
• •Time commitment: ~1.5 hours for two shooters, 2+ hours for groups of 4+

You don't need to shoot the full course. Half-course pricing cuts your targets and ammo costs in half. Groups of 15+ should contact the farm directly for pricing.

Bring your own shotgun, ammo, and cart if you've got them. All welcome.

Archery 3D course access through membership. The warmup area and 3D course in the woods are included with archery memberships ($120/year). Non-members can access during certain times—call ahead.

They run two types of hunts:

• •European Tower Shoots - $300/shooter
• •200 birds (or 10 birds per hunter)
• •Shooters positioned 100 yards from central tower in a circle
• •Pheasants released; birds fly in different directions and heights
• •Lunch included, retrieving dogs included, bird cleaning included
• •Harvested birds equally divided and bagged

Dog Training/Run the Fields - $50/hour Puppy field available during upland season. Birds available at extra cost. Appointments required. Waivers must be signed.

They host weddings regularly—multiple bookings every month spring through fall. Corporate events, bachelor parties, team-building activities, and family outings all use the property. The farm includes event facilities and rental options.

Membership isn't required to shoot, but it saves money:

All memberships include 10% off pro-shop items (excluding ammo) and discounts on each round of sporting clays.

Special events also run throughout the year: Tower Shoots, Total Archery Challenge, glow clay night shoots.

NO ALCOHOL on the course. Show up inebriated and they'll refuse service. This isn't negotiable.

Kids can shoot—they must be accompanied by an adult at all times. Parents decide whether their child can handle the gun weight and recoil. Safety comes first.

Rifle and pistol shooting? Not here. They're shotgun-only. Likens Academy is down the street if you need rifle or pistol instruction.

Walking the 1.5-mile course is allowed but not recommended. Golf carts exist for a reason.
