Full description and what we offer
FIERCE Training operates out of Lone Tree, Iowa, running firearms classes scheduled primarily by demand rather than on a fixed calendar. If you don't see a class listed that you want—email them and they'll add it to the schedule.
- •Permit to Carry classes – Iowa and multi-state coverage
- •New Shooter Courses – Fundamentals for first-time gun owners
- •Rifle Classes – Various skill levels and applications
- •Defensive Pistol Training – Practical defensive scenarios
- •Private Instruction – One-on-one or small group training, available on-site or at your location (if facilities and travel costs work)
- •Firearms Maintenance – Deep cleaning, sight changes, gunsmithing services
Most classes aren't prescheduled. Contact them directly at [email protected] or 319-629-5559 to request a class and get it added to the calendar.
The instructor believes training should never be required, but prudent shooters should seek it out. There's a clear distinction made here: a couple hours of online safety instruction won't cut it. A good class—one that covers what actually matters—can save your freedom or your life.
FIERCE Training stresses extreme safety in all firearm handling regardless of experience level. They're direct about responsibility: you are responsible for knowing how your specific firearm operates safely.
Even though Iowa became constitutional carry in 2021 (no permit required to carry loaded), many shooters still get a Permit to Carry for practical reasons: - Easier gun purchases - Multi-state reciprocity (an Iowa permit is recognized in many other states) - Federal School Zone Gun Safety Act complications (technically unconstitutional but still on the books)
