Iowa Gun Class

Iowa Gun Class delivers state-compliant firearms training entirely online. Their 12-lesson course runs about 2 hours and 15 minutes total, broken into 10-minute segments you can complete on your schedule. Instructor Gary Peterson, owner of US Gun Class, leads the curriculum using USCCA (United States Concealed Carry Association) materials.

The course covers the essentials:

Iowa doesn't require a shooting qualification for the Permit to Carry Weapons (PCW). Complete the online class, pass the quiz with 70%, get your certificate—then apply directly for your permit. No range time needed.
