Full description and what we offer
Oxbow Ridge Outfitters was founded in 2011 by Brett Randall and Scott Taylor to manage land and whitetail herds for sustainable hunting experiences. They operate out of Decatur, Iowa, with hunting properties in Iowa's Non-Resident Zone 4 and Northern tier counties in Missouri (Harrison and Mercer counties).
The vast majority of farms hunted are owned, not leased. Years of management have gone into habitat improvement and setup for guest success.
They intentionally keep operations small—taking only a select few clients each year. This creates focused, relaxed hunts rather than high-volume operations.
| Hunt Type | Duration | Price | Includes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Semi-Guided | 4 days | $5,000 | Prepared stand sites |
| Semi-Guided + Lodging | 4 days | $6,500 | Stands + accommodations |
| Fully-Outfitted | 3 days | $8,500 | Lodging, transport, recovery, processing |
Spring Turkey Hunts also available: Semi-guided 3-day hunts at $2,500 or fully-guided at $5,000 (includes lodging).
Add prepared meals to any hunt for $150/day per person. Extra days available at daily rates.
No compromises on stand quality. Their fleet includes: - Cast aluminum hang-on stands for silent, stable performance - Ladder stands (15' to 25' models, some two-man options) - Over two dozen permanent tower blinds (Rutted Up, Rednecks, Banks, Shadow Hunter, etc.) - Every stand equipped with safety lines—no unattached climbing, hunting, or descending - All towers have hand rails and guard rails
They specifically focus on rut archery hunts (the prime time for mature bucks) and align Missouri rifle season with the rut. Success throughout all seasons, but the rut is their specialty.
No antler restrictions—hunt the buck you want without worrying about age class or point restrictions. Trophy means the memories with family and friends.
Parent/Child Combo Hunts — Ask about discounted rates for family hunts.
Many bucks taken by clients have years of trail camera documentation. Contact Brett for current season photos—they have plenty.
