The Forks Rifle Club, established in 1933, operates the W.G. Coulter Rifle Range in Emerado, North Dakota. The outdoor facility includes a fifteen-point national match course high power rifle range with 200, 300 and 600 yard firing points, a 500 meter high power rifle silhouette range, and a separate sighting-in range with 100 and 200 yard backstops. A building on the grounds holds seven covered shooting bays and a heated shooting house. An attached indoor range has eight fifty-foot smallbore points used for junior and adult shooting programs, including precision air rifle instruction from NRA certified instructors, during the winter months.
The club is affiliated with the National Rifle Association, the North Dakota Shooting Sports Association and the Civilian Marksmanship Program, and sponsors smallbore and high power rifle matches and championships through the year.
