Tri-County Sportsmen Club

Tri-County Sportsmen Club is a private membership-based shooting facility located in Holy Cross, Iowa, serving the Clayton, Delaware, and Dubuque county regions. Established in 1985 and operating from a 135-acre property, the club offers a comprehensive recreational shooting experience for firearm and archery enthusiasts.

The club maintains dedicated ranges for multiple shooting disciplines:

• •Rifle Range - Constructed in 2012, available to range key holders
• •Pistol Range - Member access with range key
• •Shotgun/Trap House - Trap and skeet shooting with seasonal events
• •Archery Range - Hosts annual 3-D archery shoots in summer months

The property is closed to the public and requires membership for access. The club welcomes new members from the tri-county area and maintains approximately 348 regular members and 59 lifetime members. Annual membership dues are $30 for new members and $25 for renewals. Range key holders (limited to 150 members) pay $45 annually for dedicated rifle range and trap house access.

Beyond shooting, the club offers: - Fishing pond with newly replaced dock facilities (stocked spring 2025) - Three RV campsites with water and 30-amp electrical hookups - Monthly member meetings (except December) - Annual events including fish fry, trap shoot, and 3-D archery competition

Tri-County Sportsmen Club is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization (as of 2023) and actively participates in conservation efforts including the Iowa Tree Farm Program, Conservation Reserve Program, and the Iowa DOT Adopt-a-Highway Program.
