Ft. Larned Arms Association

Ft. Larned Arms Association, Inc. is an established shooting club located in Larned, Kansas, serving the regional firearms community with comprehensive range facilities and competitive shooting opportunities.

The club maintains multiple specialized ranges to accommodate different shooting disciplines:

• •USPSA full-size steel targets
• •Bianchi falling plate racks (2)
• •Target board

• •100-yard pit with steel resetting targets and target board
• •150-yard range with benches at 50, 100, and 150 yards

• •Public welcome (no membership required)
• •Shoots every Monday at 7 p.m.

Ft. Larned Arms Association hosts regular sanctioned competitions:

• •USPSA Matches - Twice monthly (dates posted on calendar)
• •Steel Challenge Competitions - Third Saturday of each month (March-November)
• •Combat Shoots - Third Saturday of each month (March-November)
• •4-H Clay Target Training - Youth development program

The club operates as a membership range with annual dues of $80 per year. Trap shooting is open to the public and does not require membership. Registration and safety meetings are held 30 minutes before match events.

The club enforces strict safety protocols including ammunition restrictions (no armor-piercing or steel-core rounds, maximum 3,000 feet per second), and requires minimum shooting distances on steel targets (100 yards minimum). All members must adhere to club safety rules and range closure dates.
