Submit original articles about M1 Garands for peer review. All authors receive: - 1-year complimentary membership - Advance copy by First Class Mail - Byline credit in the Journal
Guidelines are strict—submissions must be original, previously unpublished work submitted as plain text with high-resolution photos (300 dpi minimum, 1200×1600px or larger). All material is fact-checked by technical advisors including Scott Duff and Paul "Bubba" Goedde.
GCA sponsors competitive shooting events with an official rulebook and match schedule. Members compete using their M1s at sanctioned matches throughout the year. Notable shooters and award winners are recognized in the Journal.
GCA has built a searchable index of all published articles (dating back to the organization's founding), making it a living archive of M1 knowledge. The organization also maintains relationships with the Civilian Marksmanship Program (CMP) and participates in military rifle heritage preservation.
