Hanke's Hunts

Hanke's Hunts is a family-run outfitter based in rural Waterville, Kansas—northeast of the state in prime whitetail and turkey country. John Hanke, born and raised on the hunting grounds, brings two decades of hands-on experience to every hunt.

Deer Hunts - Hunts across 10,000+ strictly managed private acres - Minimum standards: 130 gross for 8-pointers, 140 gross for 9+ pointers - Multiple seasons available—archery (late Sept–Dec), rut season (Halloween–Thanksgiving), and muzzleloader - 6-day packages standard - Terrain includes wooded draws, natural travel funnels, agricultural fields, and managed food plots

Turkey Hunts The area is home to a rare opportunity: Eastern turkeys, Rio Grande turkeys, and hybrids of both. Local birds consistently feature 10-inch+ beards and 20+ pound weights. - 3-day hunts (April–May) - Fully guided and called hunts - Ask about youth and bow-only turkey seasons

Predator Hunts Coyotes, red foxes, badgers, and bobcats. Mid-January through February, 2-day minimums.

Fishing (seasonal) Summer group getaways with access to farm ponds, county lakes, rivers, and reservoirs. Species include bass, catfish, crappie, perch, walleye, striper, and wipers.
