Full description and what we offer

The Tactical Anatomy Summit teaches armed professionals and concealed carriers what actually works when facing a violent threat. This isn't paper-target shooting—it's built on real medical knowledge and proven defensive tactics.

The course combines classroom instruction with two intensive live-fire blocks, totaling 225 rounds of shooting. You'll learn from:

  • Dr. Troy Miller – The Zones of Effective Neutralization and where they actually are
  • Dr. Andy Anderson – Emergency room lessons about gunshot wounds and street survival shooting skills
  • Shane Kerwin – 3-D approach to defensive shooting and aortic arch significance (from Special Forces sniper and assaulter experience)
  • Chuck Haggard – Ballistic performance of defensive calibers, pocket pistol role, and street gunfight realities
  • Steve Moses – Live-fire drills on effective three-dimensional visualization

The curriculum is rooted in Dr. James S. Williams' Tactical Anatomy: Shooting With X-Ray Vision methodology. Topics include:

  • Zones of effective neutralization (classroom + live fire)
  • 3-D defensive shooting approach
  • Ballistic performance of popular defensive handgun calibers
  • Lessons from emergency medicine about actual gunshot wounds
  • Real-world street survival and historic gunfight analysis
  • Special Forces sniper and combat deployment experience

"There is a stark difference between shooting tight groups on a flat, static target and being able to effectively stop a determined, violent attacker who will not quit until physically incapacitated."

This course equips you with three essentials: tactical anatomy knowledge, short-range precision marksmanship, and survival mindset.

Firearm: Bring your preferred carry pistol. Note: All SIG Sauer P320 variants (including M17/M18) are prohibited—bring an alternative.

Ammunition: 225 rounds required

Other Gear: Holster (IWB, OWB, or appendix), gun belt, 3 magazines, eye/ear protection, rugged clothing, appropriate footwear, and notepad (about half the course is detailed classroom instruction).
