Full description and what we offer
Jeff Flannery learned his craft from Cecil Brooks, a master Kentucky riflemaker and engraver whose works are held by collectors nationwide. What started as apprenticeship in the early 1960s became a nationally recognized engraving company operating out of a custom-built 800 square foot shop in rural northern Kentucky, near Cincinnati.
The Shop & Setup
The workspace is purpose-built—steel and reinforced concrete construction for maximum fire and theft protection. Equipment matches the serious approach: highest-quality tools work alongside custom-designed tooling to produce work that's both technically precise and artistically strong.
The company handles engraving on:
Arms historically have been visual expressions of their possessors' power. Engraving doesn't just enhance value—it distinguishes individual pieces from each other.
Each job is unique. Prices depend on depth, detail, complexity, and time involved. The shop works with clients on budget concerns—call to discuss your specific project.
Jeff Flannery holds a degree from Ohio University (business and fine/industrial arts) and served as a Navy nuclear submarine officer stationed in Rota, Spain. He's a Life Member of the NRA, Life Member of the Ohio Gun Collectors Association, and active in SASS (#18320, "Blood n Guts").
Hunter Flannery also handles engraving work in the shop.
