Northeastern Kentucky Fish and Game Association

Northeastern Kentucky Fish and Game Association (NEKFGA) operates a professional, member-focused shooting range facility in Cannonsburg, Kentucky. Established with a commitment to safety, marksmanship, and outdoor recreation, NEKFGA serves as a hub for shooting sports enthusiasts in the region.

The range accommodates various shooting disciplines and skill levels:

• •Rifle shooting on designated rifle ranges
• •Pistol shooting with dedicated pistol range areas
• •Shotgun sports including clay target shooting
• •Organized competitive matches and events throughout the year
• •Black powder and traditional shooting activities

NEKFGA operates as a membership-based facility. Members gain year-round access via gate card system. Guest day passes are available with member escort and require completed liability forms.

Prospective members must:

• •Complete and submit a membership application
• •Attend mandatory safety orientation (held the first Saturday of each month at noon)
• •Provide proof of either valid CCW permit or national criminal background check (applicant's expense)
• •Submit $125 membership fee
• •Review and agree to established club rules

NEKFGA maintains rigorous safety standards with:

• •10+ trained Range Safety Officers (RSOs) and 4 Chief RSOs providing continuous oversight
• •Regular patrols during operating hours
• •Established range rules in effect since 2012
• •Mandatory liability forms for all guests
• •Gate card access management to prevent unauthorized entry

The club hosts organized shooting matches and events throughout the year. Members receive calendar updates and can schedule events through the club office.
