Full description and what we offer
The Fusilier Complex started in 2002 when the old Hub City Rifle and Pistol Club lost its lease near Lafayette. Today it operates as a non-profit, members-only range on 654 acres of dedicated shooting land. The club is open dawn to dusk every day of the week—except during routine maintenance, which members are notified about via the website.
Unlike general-purpose ranges, the Fusilier Complex has six distinct facilities, each designed for specific shooting disciplines:
Handgun Range – Covered concrete firing line with 10 segregated points, benches, and berms on three sides. Target boards at 7 and 15 yards. Handguns only.
Rifle/Pistol Range – 100-yard covered facility with sight-in benches, target boards at 4, 7, 15, 25, 50, 75, and 100 yards. Shotgun slugs allowed at 25 and 100 yards only.
Rifle Range (Carrol Green Range) – 30 concrete benches on covered deck. Target boards at 100, 200, and 300 yards. No shooting under 100 yards. Shotgun slugs permitted at 100, 200, and 300 yards.
Shotgun Range – Trap machine and mechanical thrower for clay target shooting. Patterning frame and cardboard provided. No shotgun slugs on this line.
Action Bay – 25-yard uncovered bay for pistol caliber only. Open facility with two impact berms designed for competitive and defensive shooting drills. Member-only, no guest access. Requires qualifications.
Long-Range Rifle Facility – Separate, gated facility with earthen berm firing line elevated 6 feet. Steel targets at 400, 500, 600, 850, 925, and 1,000 yards. F-Class target boards at 600 and 1,000 yards. Members must meet qualifications and receive separate access key.
Active NRA membership is required for all Fusilier Complex members.
