Louisiana Bowhunter (LABH) was established in 2015 with a straightforward mission: improve deer herds, enhance hunting quality, and support Louisiana's bowhunting community. What started as a passion project has grown into the state's most active bowhunting resource.

2025 Hunt League Competition
The centerpiece of LABH's community engagement is their annual Hunt League—a competitive season-long bowhunting tournament running September 20, 2025 through February 15, 2026.

Fair chase only. High fences disqualify entries. All animals must be legally tagged and harvested in applicable states.
Additional Scoring Details: - Each team member: 1 buck maximum (submit your largest if you harvest multiple) - Does: 3 per hunter @ 20 points each (120 possible per team) - Hogs: 3 per hunter @ 10 points each (60 possible per team) - Bobcats: 1 per hunter @ 25 points (50 possible per team) - Coyotes: Unlimited @ 10 points each
Compound and traditional bows only (crossbows permitted for hunters under 12 or those with disabled hunter permits from Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries).
