Ken Griner has been a formally trained machinist and craftsman for over four decades, operating his shop since 1987. An NRA Life Member and active SASS competitor since 2002, he knows what shooters actually need—especially cowboy action competitors.
Griner Gunworks is a proud SASS member (#55942 El Mulo Vaquero) and has supplied tuned rifles, shotguns, and pistols to Evil Roy's online store for the last 15 years. Their CAS work includes:
- •Uberti 1873s and 1866s - tuned and shortstroked with custom options
- •Single Action Revolvers - Rugers, Ubertis, Pietta, Colts, and open tops with action work
- •Shotgun Action Work - SKB, Browning BSS, CZ Sharptail, Baikal, Winchester/IAC 97s
CZ Sharptail modifications set them apart: modified hammer spring struts for easy replacement, low-profile extractor conversion for faster reloads, and optional lever bending for easier reach.
