Full description and what we offer
NRA Firearms Training operates through the Penobscot County Conservation Association (established 1928), a volunteer organization of local sportsmen and sportswomen. The program is staffed by multiple NRA Certified Instructors and Training Counselors.
Courses are arranged for groups of 4–8 people. Pricing varies based on the discipline selected and whether firearms and ammunition are provided by students or the program. Upon successful completion, students receive nationally recognized NRA course completion certificates.
Scheduled courses are posted on the PCCA events board as they're added throughout the year.
The PCCA also runs community sporting events including family fishing days, archery programs, ice fishing outings, and conservation activities—all supporting Maine's sporting heritage.
