Knox County Fish & Game Association is a non-profit based at Beaver Lodge on Alford Lake in Hope, Maine. The club operates Eye of the Hawk Range, a members-only facility named by the black powder shooters who built it from the ground up.

  • Rifle and Pistol Ranges — 25, 50, and 100-yard berms for rifles and shotguns; walk-through pistol range with reactive targets
  • 3D Archery Course — Nearly a mile loop with 9 stations, each with 3 targets at varied yardages. Kid's range also available
  • Lake and Grounds — 89 acres of woods, private sand beach with swimming, boat launch accessing 585 acres of Alford Lake
  • Seasonal Camping — Wooded campsites with picnic tables
  • Lodge Rentals — Event space available for club functions

Scheduled shoots are open to the public; members get year-round access.

Annual Membership: $125 ($75 for veterans/first responders, $750 life membership). Specials run during May and June.

  • Members and guests only (except during public scheduled shoots)
  • Range hours: 9 AM–7 PM (good weather), 9 AM–dusk (Oct–mid-April)
  • Safe Table on firing line for weapon maintenance and clearing
  • Children welcome with parent/guardian supervision and proper eye/ear protection
  • Gate combination changes annually; Range Master Christina Parsons issues keys to members
