The Richmond Sportsman Association was founded in 1942 and has been serving shooters and hunters across Maine ever since. Located at 149 Alexander Reed Road in Richmond, the club maintains multiple ranges and regularly hosts events open to both members and the public.
Trap & Skeet League - Runs Tuesday evenings, April 30th through October 30th - Hours: 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM - Member cost: $6.00 per event - Non-member cost: $7.00 per event - Moves to Thursday when raining or heat index exceeds 90°F - Pistol and rifle ranges close during league events
Year-Round Ranges - Dedicated pistol range (see specific rules below) - Full rifle range for centerfire rifles - Rim fire rifles (.22, .17) welcome on pistol range - Pistol caliber carbines (9mm, .45 ACP, etc.) allowed on pistol range
The club maintains strict safety protocols:

Pistol range enforces single firing line when multiple shooters present. Side berms are safety-only—no targets or shooting in those areas.

- •Family: $50/year — Entire family access (children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult)
- •Lifetime: $350 — One-time payment for permanent membership
