Advanced Tactical Training and Defense runs firearms safety and concealed carry instruction in Maryland with a straightforward approach: they offer standardized courses, but they'll also build custom training if that's what fits your situation better.

They cover Maryland Handgun Qualification License (HQL) training—the baseline requirement for carry permits in MD. Beyond that, they offer concealed carry courses for Maryland, Virginia, Utah, Florida, Arizona, and New Hampshire, with additional fees for multi-state coverage.

Maryland Concealed Carry (2 days) - $350 includes HQL certification plus deeper fundamentals and safety instruction. Re-qualification runs $200.

Women-only handgun classes are available—call for pricing.

They run skill-building courses in handgun, carbine, and shotgun at four levels: - Level 1 (Basic) - $250/day - Level 2 (Intermediate) - $250/day - Level 3 (Advanced) - $300/day - Level 4 (Custom/Advanced) - $400+/day

Specialty courses include low-light shooting ($250, or $100 add-on), room clearing/CQB (single, two-person, or force-on-force), team tactics, vehicle-based shooting, and weapons retention/disarm techniques.

Intro to Long Range Precision Shooting ($250/day) and intermediate courses ($400/2 days). Sniper and designated marksman training available by request.

Standard NRA Basic courses cover pistol, rifle, and shotgun at $175-$185 each. NRA Range Safety Officer certification is $200. They also run casual USPSA-style matches ($75) and can arrange competition shooter instruction.

Private security and detective handgun qualifications (initial $350, re-qual $200). Virginia and DC armed/unarmed security training available through industry partners.
