Bollinger Gunsmithing & Sales started in 2010 and has grown from roots in "The Barn" (dating back to the 1830s) to a restored 1936 Model Steam Bakery building on Taneytown's Main Street in 2016. They've kept the mom-and-pop feel while expanding services every year.

- •Gunsmithing: Master gunsmith on-site. Project drop-off Mon-Sat. Out-of-state work accepted.
- •Firearms & Accessories: Showroom inventory including optics, NFA items, and consignment racks.
- •Transfers: Handguns ($40), Longguns ($15), NFA ($150). Private and dealer transfers. Background checks for private sales.
- •Fingerprinting & Notary: On-site livescan and ink prints. No appointment needed.
- •Purchasing & Appraisals: Buy new and used firearms. Estate and insurance appraisals available.
- •Training (Coming Soon): MD Wear/Carry Class, MD HQL Class, 1-on-1 instruction.
They run the Bollinger Foundation to support first responders and expand access to safety education. Active in local affiliations including NRA Life Membership, Carroll County Chamber, and Taneytown Main Street.
They accept out-of-state gunsmithing projects, so if you need work done, location isn't a barrier.
