Full description and what we offer
Antonio's been obsessed with shooting since age 13. After working Federal Security with prior law enforcement and military trainers, he decided to start D.R.A.W. with one clear goal: be the firearms instructor that's actually accessible to regular people and makes them feel comfortable learning.
"I don't need to be the BEST Firearms instructor in the area... but I know I'm in the conversation! What I want most, is to be the PEOPLE's instructor." —Antonio
He nails that balance. Most civilian shooters don't want someone barking orders. They want competent instruction delivered by someone who understands that.
Legal Requirements - Maryland HQL Course — 4 hours (plus live fire at the range). Required before buying a regulated firearm in Maryland. - Multi-State CCW Permit Course — Maryland and DC require 16 hours (2 days). Virginia and other states require 4 hours. Instruction covers everything you need to apply.
Skills & Development - D.R.A.W. Basic Firearms Training Course — Safety, firearm anatomy, marksmanship fundamentals, and practical tactical use. No license required; just want to learn. - D.R.A.W. Defensive Pistol Course — 4-hour range class. Covers defensive shooting concepts and performance-based training for concealed carry confidence. Bring 600 rounds (likely won't shoot all of it). - D.R.A.W. Skill Development Course — 4 hours for shooters with existing training. Reinforces safety principles, addresses skill degradation, and lets you ask questions in a guided environment. - One-on-One Sessions — Custom instruction from certified instructors. Great for beginners or experienced shooters who want to diagnose and fix their own errors.
What D.R.A.W. Stands For: Reaction. Defense. Awareness. Weapon Proficiency.
Students describe Antonio as knowledgeable, professional, and interactive—not someone who lectures while you zone out. He makes sure you understand before moving forward. The hands-on range work gets direct, accurate instruction. Safety is always the priority.
"He prioritizes safety and efficiency so if you leave feeling uncomfortable he's just a phone call or a refresher course away." —Bria Thomas
