JW Firearms Training was founded to deliver credible firearms education without premium price tags. Instructors are certified by Maryland State Police, the National Rifle Association, and the United States Concealed Carry Association—they know what they're talking about.

They're the official training partner for Cindy's Hot Shots and a proud USCCA Official Partner, which means their curriculum is built on proven defensive training systems.

• •Maryland HQL Training ($170, includes fingerprinting) — Meets state requirements for handgun qualification. Covers safety, function, ammunition types, storage, and marksmanship fundamentals.
• •Maryland Wear & Carry Permit ($350 for 16 hours) — Two 8-hour days covering carry laws, holster techniques, shooting qualification (70% accuracy minimum), defensive fundamentals, and legal use of force.
• •Wear & Carry Renewal ($150 for 8 hours) — Refresher with live-fire qualification.
• •Florida & Utah CCW ($100 per person) — Multi-state permits, both classroom instruction and fingerprinting included.
• •USCCA Defensive Shooting Fundamentals ($200) — Range-based course on combat accuracy, holster presentation, speed vs. precision, and stress response. Requires basic firearms knowledge.
• •USCCA Concealed Carry & Home Defense ($200, includes textbook) — Comprehensive one-day classroom covering conflict avoidance, home security, shooting fundamentals, violent encounter physiology, and legal aftermath. No live fire.
• •Women's USCCA Basic Handgun ($150) — Beginner course designed for female shooters, includes 50 rounds of .22 and textbook.
• •Shooting from the Holster (2 hours) — Live-fire drills focusing on draw technique, holster locations, and defensive shooting.
• •Private Lessons ($100/hour typical) — 1-on-1 instruction tailored to your goals. Range time, gun rental, and targets included (ammo extra).

They handle fingerprinting and passport photos on-site the same day as your class—useful when applying for permits. Application completion assistance is available for $45-$65 depending on the permit type.
