The Point at Pintail

The Point at Pintail sits on 55 acres along the Wye River in Queenstown, Maryland—easily accessible from Baltimore, Washington DC, Philadelphia, and Northern Virginia. This is a sporting clays facility, not a gun store. They run a year-round course with 25 shooting stations designed to simulate different hunting scenarios.

Sporting clays is often called "golf with a gun." Instead of sinking a ball in a hole, you break clay targets at designated stations. The course features:

• •Water-backdrop wobble trap for challenging presentations
• •Adjustable difficulty—stations can be modified to match your skill level
• •Handicapped accessible throughout

The course stays open year-round, whether it's raining, snowing, or sunny. A well-maintained cart and walking path weaves through the landscape with scenic river views and gazebos positioned throughout.

In-house NSCA-certified instructors offer structured lessons for:
