Massachusetts Gun License School handles the state-mandated training requirement for anyone applying for a License to Carry. The course covers Massachusetts gun laws and firearms safety, and you receive a Massachusetts State Police Certificate upon completion—the document you need to apply to your local police department.
The path to your LTC is straightforward:
1. Take the class at one of two locations 2. Apply to your local police department with your completion certificate 3. Get your license (typically 30-60 days after your police department appointment)
The Guarantee: Pass the class, apply within 1 year to your local PD, and have a clean record (no felony or misdemeanor convictions)? You'll get your Class A LTC or your money back.
The comprehensive course covers state firearm laws and safety fundamentals. You'll participate in in-class exercises loading actual firearms with dummy rounds—no live ammunition is used during instruction.
