Precision Specialties builds handguns from scratch, not just swapping parts. The work starts with a frame and involves extensive fitting, milling, and hand-finishing to get components to work together precisely.

Most of the portfolio is custom 1911s in various calibers (45 ACP, 38 Super, 38 Special). Recent builds feature: - Essex, Caspian, and S&W frames - Ed Brown and Volquartsen internals - Bomar target sights and premium grips - Three-pound trigger pulls with zero creep - Full slide-to-frame fitting and milling

• •Ruger conversions - Taking a 22/45 frame and fitting it to an older Mk II frame, then modifying most internals. Result: 2.5-pound trigger pull and exceptional accuracy.

• •Revolver work - S&W .41 Mag, .44 Mag, .357 Mag, and X-Frame builds. Recent trend toward increasing revolver customization.

• •Action work - Complete disassembly, smoothing, and modification of mechanisms like the Browning High Power.
