Full description and what we offer
IAA isn't a venue—it's an association that runs 3D archery and spot competitions across Michigan, Indiana, Ohio, and Pennsylvania. Co-owners Jason Birchmeier and Rocky Cummins took over in 2024 from founder C.R. LaFata, bringing over 30 years of competitive archery experience between them.
"The IAA is the fastest growing Archery Association in the area" with 200+ participant turnout per club event.
IAA built itself on listening to archers. They set rules, formats, and classes based on what competitors actually wanted—not what some corporate office decided. The association actively solicits feedback and implements competitor suggestions.

Jason Birchmeier - Competing since age 12, driven by the idea that second place means you didn't work hard enough. His wife Jen works behind the scenes helping grow the association.
Rocky Cummins - 30+ years in competitive archery. Passion for the sport drives everything—from hunting to 3D to indoors.
Both are committed to maintaining what C.R. LaFata built while bringing new energy and ideas to the community.
