Trinity Training and Security

Trinity Training and Security provides firearms instruction and security training across west-central Michigan. Their core offering is the state-approved 8-hour Concealed Pistol License course—5 hours classroom, 3 hours range time—taught by USCCA Certified instructors. Classes run 8am-5pm and include lunch.

Private CPL Classes require a 6-person minimum and $450 deposit. Per-student cost varies; eye/ear protection ($3.50), textbooks ($25), and firearm rental with ammo ($35) are available. They'll schedule around your group's calendar with 4 weeks' notice.

Beyond the license, they offer Concealed Carry Fundamentals—a free 2-hour virtual seminar covering use of force law, situational awareness, de-escalation, and pre-assault indicators. Educational and discussion-based, no live fire required.

Countering Active Violence is an 8-hour course ($750 for up to 6 students, $75 per additional) designed for security teams, business owners, school staff, and armed citizens. Topics include behavioral indicators, threat assessment, emergency response planning, evacuation procedures, and scenario-based exercises. They teach at your facility.

Emergency First Aid is an 8-hour CPR/AED/First Aid/Hemorrhage Control course ($175) specifically structured for armed individuals. Scheduled in 9-hour blocks with breaks and lunch. Earns 8 hours CPE credit through Michigan's MCOLES and qualifies under PA 302 Law Enforcement Distribution funding.
