At the Ready Armory

At The Ready Armory operates out of North Mankato as a licensed FFL dealer taking firearm transfers. The transfer fee is straightforward: $20 for the first firearm and $5 for each additional gun. They're currently updating their physical shop but continue serving customers by appointment. Call 507-381-1617 to set up a time.

They offer gunsmithing services at $30 per hour and specialize in custom AR builds. Whether you're looking for modifications, repairs, or a complete build-to-spec AR-15 or AR-10, they handle the work.

Magazines: They stock AR15/AR10 magazines from Hexmag, Magpul, Hera Arms, KCI, and Glock. Available in-shop and at local gun shows.

They're now running all classes online at your convenience with pre-recorded video available on YouTube (2 hours 10 minutes). The class meets requirements for Minnesota Permit to Carry (valid in 32 states) plus Arizona and Florida non-resident permits—all covered in one class at no extra charge.

For renewals, provide your current or expired Permit to Carry—they won't keep it as proof.

Minnesota Permit to Carry is valid in 32 states. Non-residents can obtain it, and one class covers Arizona and Florida non-resident requirements too.
