Grant County Shooters Association

Grant County Shooters Association is a professionally designed, safety-oriented shooting range located in Elbow Lake. Built on a 13-acre site and constructed to meet DNR and NRA specifications, the facility serves both recreational shooters and competitive marksmen.

The range accommodates multiple shooting disciplines:

• •Rifle Shooting: 100/200 yard range with a 10-gun covered shooting shelter, and a dedicated 300/600 yard long-range facility with an 8-bench shelter
• •Pistol Range: 25-yard dedicated pistol range with open benches
• •Shotgun: 5-station trap range equipped with remote trap thrower, plus shotgun patterning capability
• •Archery: Dedicated archery range

The facility actively hosts IBS 600-yard competitions and organizes summer league events, making it a hub for serious shooters and competitive marksmen in the region.

Grant County Shooters Association is designed with shooter comfort in mind. The facility includes benches for gear and equipment storage, primitive restroom facilities, and a golf cart available for use on the 300-600 yard range. The range is also handicap-accessible, ensuring shooters of all abilities can participate.

The facility's professional design emphasizes safety throughout, with infrastructure built to industry standards. The separation of different shooting disciplines—rifle, pistol, and shotgun—ensures a controlled, safe shooting environment.
