Full description and what we offer
Little Crow Gunworks didn't start as a parts supplier. In 2007, owner Dale Hegstrom moved his gunsmithing operation from Appleton, Wisconsin to Spicer, Minnesota and set up shop in a 40" × 32" back corner of a pole building. The business has tripled in size since then because Hegstrom solves problems.
In 2010, frustrated with expensive motorized case trimmers, he realized reloaders already owned the perfect power tool: a cordless drill. That insight became the World's Finest Trimmer (WFT)—a precision brass case trimmer that works with any standard drill. It's now their flagship product, available in caliber-specific configurations from .17 cal through .458 cal.

Dale Hegstrom has been working with firearms since 1986. His background spans: - Modifying and repairing firearms - Hand tools, planers, millers, and grinders work - Antique gun restoration - Converting older rifles to modern standards - Custom adaptations for specific customer needs - Advanced machining for specialized builds
He's designed tools specifically to improve reloading ease and accuracy—the WFT itself solved what he saw as "the worst part of reloading: trimming the brass."

"We encounter a problem: We find a better way to do it. If we have an idea our customers have a need, with a spark of insight, we ask ourselves: what if we can fix this problem?"
Little Crow Gunworks doesn't just sell parts. They design solutions. The WFT exists because Hegstrom was tired of expensive case trimmers. The lock ring wrenches exist because no one was making them. This problem-solving approach defines everything they do—from custom rifles built for specific hunting or match applications to tools engineered for reloaders who refuse to compromise on precision.
They believe in sourcing specialized work locally when possible and pricing fairly. Gunsmithing and reloading are lifestyles here, and it shows in every product they touch.
