Big Game - Whitetail deer (archery mid-September, firearms early November) - Black bear
Game Birds - Ruffed grouse - Sharptailed grouse - Pheasants - Turkeys - Ducks and geese - Hungarian partridge
Small Game - Rabbits and squirrels

Youth seasons available for deer hunting. Multiple archery seasons including special Camp Ripley hunts.
Hunting licenses in Minnesota are valid from March 1 through February 28 of the following year. The DNR offers various license options for both hunting and fishing. Specific dates, times, and regulations are detailed in the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources handbook.
