Founded in 1964, Oakdale Gun Club operates as a member-owned non-profit dedicated to promoting the shooting sports and providing a safe, supervised range facility. The club maintains a membership base of 1,500 and accepts new applications year-round.
Oakdale runs seven distinct range facilities:
- •Short Range (members only)
- •Competition Range (members only)
- •Trap Range
- •25 Yard Range
- •50 Yard Range
- •100 Yard Range
- •200 Meter Range
Each range maintains specific rules and acceptable targets. Members shoot 365 days per year. Public hours run seasonally: July 11–October 11 weekends, October 15–November 8 daily, with select dates through December.

Free shooting for active military, law enforcement, and firefighters with valid ID on handgun and rifle ranges during public hours (trap ranges at member rates).
