Redleg Guns

Founded in 2016 by U.S. Army Veteran Brandon Lolkus, Redleg Guns started in a small Slayton shop and expanded in 2022 to a historic hardware store building in downtown Chandler, Minnesota. This is a three-person operation that doesn't chase volume—they chase perfection.

Brandon earned his Gunsmithing and Firearms degree from Pine Technical & Community College and brings decades of combined gunsmithing experience to every rifle that crosses the bench. The shop philosophy is simple: "Accuracy isn't optional—it's engineered."

Cerakote & Metal Finishing

All finishing is done by hand, making each piece unique. Most online patterns can be replicated.

Laser Engraving - $85 per hour depending on design complexity

Reloading Instruction - Advanced ammunition training to help shooters master loads that outperform factory ammunition - Free reloading data sheets available for download

Scope Mounting & Optics - Professional scope mounting: $175 - Boresighting and lapping scope rings included

General Gunsmithing - $40 minimum charge, $80/hour labor - Drill & tap per hole: $35 - Install sling swivels: $80 - Custom work and manufacturing available by quote

Under federal law, you can ship your rifle directly to this FFL gunsmith for repair or customization. Ship unloaded in a hard case with your driver's license copy and signed service form inside. Redleg returns it to the same name and address on your ID. :::
