As of September 2, 2025, Burnsville Rifle & Pistol Range has ceased operations. The building was sold and the facility is no longer accepting shooters. Refunds for memberships, shot cards, and gift cards were available through September 12, 2025 during posted hours only.
Before closure, Burnsville Rifle & Pistol Range operated as a dedicated indoor shooting facility with two distinct ranges:
Pistol Range - 12 shooting lanes at 25 yards - Computer-controlled target carrier systems - Cardboard and masking tape provided - Lane fees: $15.50 per person (unlimited time), $5 additional shooters, $4 per additional gun
Rifle Range - 5 lanes at 46 yards - Seated shooting only - Single round per second maximum (no rapid fire) - Minimum 25-yard distance required - Backstop limitation of 3500 ft/s and 3500 ft/lbs energy
Ammo Restrictions: Steel-jacketed ammunition was prohibited due to fire hazard. All ammunition was inspected by range officers before use.
The range offered Minnesota-specific firearms training:
