Dakota County Gun Club (DCGC) is a well-established shooting club located in Rosemount that serves the local community with comprehensive firearms training and shooting facilities. The club is dedicated to promoting safe and responsible firearm use through education, training, and organized shooting events.
The club maintains multiple specialized shooting ranges to accommodate different shooting disciplines:
- •Rifle Range - 25-yard rifle lanes for sight-in and precision shooting
- •Pistol Range - Eastern and western pistol bays for handgun practice
- •Trap/Shotgun Range - Dedicated shotgun stations for clay target shooting
Firearms Safety Training - MN DNR-certified firearms safety courses offered multiple times throughout the year - Evening classes (6:30 PM - 9:30 PM) for students ages 11 and up - Adults and parents welcome to register for certification - Field day components included in comprehensive training
