Dakota County Gun Club

Dakota County Gun Club (DCGC) is a well-established shooting club located in Rosemount that serves the local community with comprehensive firearms training and shooting facilities. The club is dedicated to promoting safe and responsible firearm use through education, training, and organized shooting events.

The club maintains multiple specialized shooting ranges to accommodate different shooting disciplines:

• •Pistol Range - Eastern and western pistol bays for handgun practice
• •Trap/Shotgun Range - Dedicated shotgun stations for clay target shooting

Firearms Safety Training - MN DNR-certified firearms safety courses offered multiple times throughout the year - Evening classes (6:30 PM - 9:30 PM) for students ages 11 and up - Adults and parents welcome to register for certification - Field day components included in comprehensive training

Specialized Events - Ladies Day Shooting Event - Public shooting event for women - Youth Shoots - Monthly events for shooters 18 and under, featuring .22 pistols, .22 rifles, archery, and trap shooting - Deer Rifle Sight-In - Pre-season rifle preparation and zeroing - Youth Shooting Events - Year-round programming for junior shooters

Dakota County Gun Club actively supports DNR safety instructor certification, offering volunteers the opportunity to become MN DNR-certified firearms safety instructors.
