Minnesota Sportsmen's Club traces back to 1939 as the Robbinsdale Sportsman Club, incorporated in 1941. After decades as a conservation-focused organization, the club relocated to Zimmerman in the early 1980s and built out dedicated shooting ranges from the ground up. Today it operates as a thriving member-driven facility with deep roots in Minnesota's shooting community.
Trap Range Shotgun sport where shooters aim at clay targets launched from a trap house. The club runs a competitive trap league every spring and summer (April 23–August 27, 2025). Weekly shooting available year-round with focus on safety protocols—eye and ear protection required.
Handgun Range Fast-paced precision shooting for handguns and rim-fire rifles. Range direction required; all shots must hit the safe backstop berm. Muzzle control and eye/ear protection are non-negotiable.
Archery Range Home to Minnesota's newest JOAD Club (Junior Olympic Archery Development), part of USA Archery's national program. Supports both recreational archers and those pursuing competitive shooting.
All shooting activities begin at 9 AM and must finish by 9 PM. The club is private for members and their invited guests, but multiple leagues and events are open to the public—no membership required to participate.
