Rainbow Sportsmen's Club has operated continuously since 1949 as a private, members-only target shooting and conservation club. Located along the scenic Crow River near Cokato in Wright County, the club provides a rural shooting environment for rifle, handgun, trap, and archery disciplines.
The club maintains multiple shooting benches and stations across their property:
All shooting occurs during daylight hours only (legal sunrise to sunset). The range operates on a cold range basis—all firearms must remain unloaded and cased or with actions/cylinders open until ready to fire on the designated line.
RSC enforces strict safety protocols:
Every member is a safety officer with responsibility to remind others about RSC rules
Memberships are annual (January 1–December 31) and must be renewed every year. Members receive:
New applications must be submitted in person at the club. Processing appointments available: - 2nd and 4th Saturday each month, 10 AM–Noon - Monthly club meetings (typically first Monday, 7:30 PM at main clubhouse)
