Shooter Ready isn't your typical gun range. Located in Long Beach, Mississippi, they've built a training facility around advanced firearms simulation technology—the kind that projects real-world scenarios, target accuracy drills, and tactical games without the noise, cost, or range time overhead.
They use Strikeman and Mantis Systems to run dry-fire and simulation training before moving students to live fire. This progression matters: you spend hours perfecting fundamentals and muscle memory in simulation, then apply it downrange when it counts.
Janette Luttrell brings 18+ years in the film industry as a prop master and gun armorer—she's handled firearms on countless productions nationwide and internationally. She's NRA certified for basic and advanced pistol, enhanced carry, CCW draw-from-holster, and holds NRA Range Safety Officer certification. She's also USCCA certified for concealed carry, home defense, real estate agent safety, women's basic pistol, and church security. She's trained thousands of students.
Sarah Crane holds a psychology degree and spent a decade with Florida law enforcement before managing a classic car restoration business. She purchased her first handgun in 2022, quickly realized she wasn't properly trained, and became Luttrell's student. That partnership sparked Shooter Ready.
