Bar 3 Range features an impressive array of shooting venues designed to accommodate competitive shooters and recreational users:
- •30-yard pistol range - Ideal for handgun training and marksmanship development

- •600-yard competition range - Mid-range precision shooting for serious competitors
- •1,000-yard competition range - Long-range shooting for advanced marksmen and military/law enforcement training
- •13-station Sporting Clay Course - Full course for clay target shooting
- •Five Stand Sporting Clay Course - Alternative clay shooting format
Founded in August 2015 by Mike Bush, Bar 3 Range began after the Jones County SWAT Team requested a nearby facility for long-distance practice. After visiting a Louisiana range and leveraging 40+ years of construction experience, Mike developed this full-featured facility. His daughter Jennifer joined as General Manager in 2017. The range is NRA certified and registered with the National Sporting Clay Association.
Bar 3 Range operates on a membership model with flexible options:
- •Single membership: $300/month + $150 initiation fee
- •Family membership: $450/month + $150 initiation fee (spouse, children, and guests)
- •Corporate membership: $2,500/month with unlimited guest privileges
All memberships include unlimited shooting 365 days per year with no blackout dates. Guests are welcome at $50 per visit.
Open Monday-Sunday, 8 AM to 30 minutes before sunset. Located at 194 Mullican Rd, Laurel, MS 39443.
Bar 3 Range hosts themed competitions throughout the year, including Shoot-N-Cupid, St. Patty's Pot of Gold, Spring Fling, May Day Classic, Red White & Blue Shoot, and more. The popular Starry Night Blacklight Shooting event allows nighttime pistol shooting with special lighting. Events are registered through ScoreChaser.com.
