Special Events - Classifier matches (6-stage format for skill evaluation and ranking) - Level I USPSA events with multiple stages and full scoring - Summer early-start matches (8:00 AM start time to avoid heat)
The organization occasionally hosts collaborative multi-club matches featuring 10+ stages and attracting shooters from across the region.
The association arranges Certified Range Officer (CRO) certification classes for shooters who have already passed the USPSA RO (Range Officer) exam. CRO training teaches officials how to run matches at higher competitive levels. Recent classes included instruction from Troy McManus, Director of the National Range Officers Institute. Cost is typically $60 per person with class size limited to 20 participants. CRO certification is the way to give back to the sport by helping run competitive events.
