Browning Service Department

Browning operates a dedicated service department in Arnold, Missouri that handles repairs, diagnostics, and warranty work on Browning firearms. This is the official factory service center—not a third-party gunsmith.

You submit a service request online with your firearm's serial number and a detailed description of the issue. Once your request is verified, Browning provides shipping instructions. You pack and mail your firearm to their service center, and they diagnose, repair, and return it.

Critical shipping requirement: Firearms cannot be shipped to PO Boxes. UPS requires adult signature (21+ years old) upon delivery.

Firearm Condition: - Must be completely unloaded before packaging (ammunition disposal fees apply if found) - Aftermarket accessories (scopes, sights, choke tubes, slings) must be removed—Browning isn't responsible for lost or damaged add-ons - Firearms altered outside factory specs may be restored to original configuration at owner's expense

Shipping Requirements: - Do not ship in a gun case - Must include complete firearm, not partial pieces - Dealers must provide copies of valid FFL and state licenses - Keep tracking information and serial number records - Full street address required (no PO Boxes)

Quote Decline Fee: Declined repairs are assessed a $50 evaluation and return shipping fee. Do not include payment methods (credit cards, checks, cash) with your shipment—Browning will invoice you separately if repairs are needed.

DURA-TOUCH Support: Firearms with DURA-TOUCH coating issues use a separate support form and contact process.
