Midway Farms

Midway Farms operates as a dual-purpose facility: a serious shooting sports venue combined with a full event center. Located 20 miles northwest of Columbia on rolling mid-Missouri terrain, the property spans 1000 acres of managed fields, woodlands, and two lakes.

The facility offers four distinct shooting disciplines:

• •Sporting Clays - Two 50-shot courses designed to test shooters at all levels. The courses emphasize variety with high, low, left, right, and overhead presentations at varying speeds. Shotgun instruction is available for beginners.

• •Bird Hunting - Prime upland bird country with Conservation Reserve Program (CRP) fields and managed habitat across gently rolling hills and cropland.

• •Continental Shoots - Hunters positioned at hay bale stations shoot birds launched 20-50 yards high. Ideal for groups of 10-20. Retrievers and throwers are provided.

• •Five Stand - Similar to sporting clays with five shooting stations and varied target combinations from multiple traps.

The two-story facility includes a 40-person conference room with AV equipment (TV/VCR, projectors, whiteboards), a Great Room with stone fireplace and beamed ceilings, dining room overlooking the countryside, and outdoor decks.

Full catering is available or bring your own caterer. The kitchen is yours to use for private events. Home-cooked meals feature:

• •Lunch/Dinner: Roasted pork loin, baked chicken, beef roast, fried chicken, BBQ options
• •Sides & Desserts: Multiple potato preparations, pies, cakes, brownies

Full or half-day rentals available weekdays, evenings, or weekends. Discounts for multi-day bookings. Special rates for evening-only or half-day rentals. The entire facility becomes yours for the duration.
