Missouri Trapshooters Association operates from Linn Creek, Missouri—4 miles east of Camdenton on Highway 54, then 6 miles east on Highway A. This isn't a small range. The facility has 60 traps and sits in the heart of the Lake of the Ozarks region, one of America's top vacation destinations.
The Missouri Trapshooters Association dates back to the turn of the century, originally called The Federation of Missouri Trapshooters. This is serious infrastructure with serious history.
- •Trap shooting on 60 stations
- •Sporting clays on the Blackberry Ridge course: 12 stations, 24 traps, varying backdrops (open sky, meadows, woods, pond)
- •Skeet shooting programs
The course runs Wednesday through Saturday, 9 AM-5 PM and Sunday, 12 PM-5 PM. Check in at the front counter for a target card. The layout is walkable on gravel and mulched paths, or rent a golf cart for the course. You can also drive your vehicle to the first station.
Check the MTA Gun Club Facebook page for blackout dates when large groups have reserved the course.

MTA hosts registered and non-registered shoots year-round. 2026 schedule includes:

- •September 28-October 4: Fall Handicap

MTA offers its own membership plus ATA (Amateur Trap Association) registration. The shooter's address on their ATA Average Card determines their zone for all MTA purposes.
