Sedalia Rod & Gun Club operates four distinct shooting environments across their 34700 Gun Club Road property in Sedalia, Missouri:

  • Trap and Skeet Ranges - Open to the public Wednesday and Sunday, 9 AM to 3 PM (weather permitting). The club stocks 12 and 20 gauge shells for use. Shooters can stay as long as they want; Wednesday evening shooters should call ahead.
  • Rifle and Pistol Range - Members and up to 5 guests only. Open sunrise to sunset. 25 and 50-yard configurations.
  • Five-Stand Sporting Clays Range - Part of the competitive shooting infrastructure.
  • Fishing Lake - Available to members.

Membership Dues: - Initial: $100 (includes first-year dues) - Annual renewal: $50/year - Military/Law Enforcement: Initial membership waived ($50/year dues still apply with valid military ID) - Runs to the end of the month one year from join date

What Members Get: - Access to all shooting facilities - Reduced costs for non-registered skeet and trap shoots - Lake fishing privileges - Club dinners and activities - Up to 5 guest passes per visit (member responsible for guest conduct)

Non-Members: Trap and skeet shooting available Wednesdays and Sundays 9 AM-3 PM at higher per-shoot rates. Rifle/pistol range restricted to members and club-directed events only.

2024 Participation: 564 total members | 540 trap/skeet participants | 295 skeet shooters | 307 FFA program participants | 31 college shooters

The club offers basic firearms safety and concealed carry classes when enough participants register. Members also volunteer to teach trap/skeet fundamentals during open practice shoots. "Many of our members would be happy to answer questions and get you pointed in the right direction."

Run by an active board of directors who meet the second Sunday of each month around 8:30 AM (open to all members). All club members welcome to attend.
