Full description and what we offer
Lewis and Clark Archers operates two dedicated archery facilities in the Helena area, built around the idea that archers have different preferences—weather, time of day, skill level, whatever. You pick what works for you.
Located at 3654 Hwy 12 East (by Buffalo Jump Archery), this is the workhorse facility. Annual members get 24/7 access to shoot whenever it fits your schedule. Day passes are available during business hours through Buffalo Jump Archery, which operates on-site. Climate-controlled environment means weather doesn't dictate your practice schedule.
Set up on Davis Gulch Rd, the outdoor range features a sight-in range extending to 70 yards and a full 28-target course for longer sessions. Access is currently via combination lock (membership card access coming soon). You'll need to secure the gate when you enter and leave—the range stays private that way.
| Day | Activity | Time |
|---|---|---|
| Monday & Tuesday | Seniors Shooting Meet and Greet | 11 AM |
| 1st Tuesday Monthly | Club Board Meeting | 6 PM |
The club also partners with Capital Sports for additional shooting access during their business hours, including their Techno-Hunt experience.
If you're new or just want to check things out, day passes at the indoor range are straightforward—just stop by Buffalo Jump Archery during business hours.
