Full description and what we offer
Getting your concealed carry permit is just the start. Central States Tactics and Concepts Training (CS-TaCT) exists to fill the gap between licensing and actual readiness. They offer advanced firearms instruction, tactical training, close quarter battle, and personal defense courses across Nebraska and Kansas.
Advanced Pistol Class I is their flagship offering—a 2-day intensive course focused on: - Tactical movement and positioning - Rapid target acquisition - Immediate action drills and malfunction clearing - Tactical and speed reloading - Dynamic shooting from multiple positions (standing, kneeling, prone, supine) - Situational awareness under stress
This is fast-paced and physically demanding. Students need solid marksmanship fundamentals and reliable gear before enrolling.
Beyond advanced pistol work, CS-TaCT offers: - Personal self-defense training - Close quarter battle instruction - Law enforcement tactical training (including hostage rescue scenarios)
Their team emphasizes communication and real-world teaching experience across all skill levels. Instructors regularly attend development sessions to stay current with training trends. Courses are built around achievable goals for each student, which actually improves learning outcomes. Training schedules are customized based on your current ability, strengths, and weaknesses—learning speed doesn't matter; patient instruction does.
They've invested in quality equipment and facilities to support effective training. You can train at their established locations or they'll come to yours. Training discounts available for groups providing their own locations.
