Bedlan's Sporting Goods opened its doors in 1950 when Felix Bedlan and his wife Jean decided to build a business around their passion for fine firearms. Felix wasn't just a retailer—he was a Winchester Club of America past president, life member of the N.R.A., and spent over 40 years teaching hunter safety. That foundation of expertise still runs through the shop today. In 1971, their son Dan joined full time, and the business has remained on the same corner of Highway 136 and E Street in Fairbury ever since.
