Full description and what we offer
Bedlan's Sporting Goods opened its doors in 1950 when Felix Bedlan and his wife Jean decided to build a business around their passion for fine firearms. Felix wasn't just a retailer—he was a Winchester Club of America past president, life member of the N.R.A., and spent over 40 years teaching hunter safety. That foundation of expertise still runs through the shop today. In 1971, their son Dan joined full time, and the business has remained on the same corner of Highway 136 and E Street in Fairbury ever since.

Fairbury sits in southeast Nebraska's prime hunting territory—the Little Blue River valley offers whitetail deer, pheasant, quail, turkey, snow geese, and more across farmland, native prairie, and wooded ravines. The area has six Wildlife Management Areas totaling over 2,800 acres. Whether you're gearing up for opening day or restocking after the season, Bedlan's has the firearms, ammunition, and accessories hunters in Jefferson County have trusted for generations.
